A number of limited sneaker releases are scheduled to hit the shelves this Black Friday, including two new colorways of the foamposite inspired Air Jordan 1. Coming off the heels of the Cranberry and Metallic Silver color options that released earlier this month, the Air Jordan 1 Andoized will become available in both University Blue and Black on Friday, November 26th, 2010. The University Blue pair comes complete with black accenting, a white tongue tag and a white outsole. The Black pair sticks to a tonal finish and includes a Anthracite-tinted translucent outsole. If you’re interested in securing yourself a pair in either of the two available colorways, visit Eastbay now and put in a pre-order.
Chalk up another release date change for the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Doernbecher”, the second of it’s kind since first learning about the nike air max shoes last month. Originally reported to release sometime this month but than pushed back to December 11th, the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Doernbecher” is now slated to officially touch down at retailers on December 4th, 2010. What’s ironic about this is that December 4th was the original release date for the Air Jordan 13 “Altitude”, which we’ve since learned has been changed to December 11th, 2010. The two sneakers particularly swapped dates with each other.
Still going strong with their air max nike collection, adidas Originals unleashes a Superstar II honoring the 64-year old league. In what could be considered a ode to the NY Knicks, the sneakers feature a white leather base, blue and orange accents on the three stripes and a black heel tab with orange embroidery of adidas’ Trefoil logo. The same blue and orange color combination also appears on that start on the heel spine and extend down the tongue. To remind us of the days when adidas was the biggest name in the game for basketball sneakers, the shoes have yellow-ish stains on the shell toe and midsole for that old school vintage look. Like all the other sneakers in the collection, the standard tongue tag has been modified to include the NBA logo.
If you were unable to get your hands on the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Metallic Platinum” earlier this year, you’ll soon be able to fill that void in your Swingman collection. Following the limited quickstrike release this past summer, the Nike air max 90 “Metallic Platinum” is scheduled to return as a general release on Black Friday. Since this is the same day the Air Jordan 7 Premio “Bin 23″ and Air Jordan 13 “Flint Grey” release, as well as the Air Force 1 Foamposite in Black, you may want to secure yourself a pair of these now if you have any interest in them, this way you can set your sights on other harder-to-get releases. Eastbay has them available for pre-order in sizes up to 15 for $ 140 with a ship date set for November 26th, the same day the sneakers hit retailers.
